History
Found in the wake up of the Strokes' popularity and a subsequent garage rock revival, New York's art-punk trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs comprise singer Karen O (whose full cognomen is Orzolek), guitar player Nicolas Zinner, & drummer Brian Chase. O met Chase at Ohio's Oberlin College and met Zinner through friends when she transferred to New York University. Zinner & O formed a b& within 2000 and recruited Chase once their original drummer bowed out.
